No decision in the election

The presidential elections (and National Assembly elections) in the Seychelles from 25 to 27 September did not produce a clear result. There will be a second round: no one achieved the required 50% of the votes, so there will be a new election between the two candidates with the most votes:

Mr Herminie and Mr Ramkalawan.

The new elections will be held from 9 to 11 October 2025.
