The iconic Clock Tower in the heart of Victoria was officially reopened this evening (June 13, 2026) at 7:00 p.m. following an extensive restoration that began in April 2026.
The landmark, one of the Seychelles’ most recognizable national symbols, was carefully dismantled and restored to preserve its historic character while ensuring its durability for future generations.
With the Clock Tower now standing proudly once again in the center of the capital, the restoration marks an important milestone for the preservation of the nation’s cultural heritage and identity.
